The Bubble Joy is a blog about one woman's attempt to stay out of the lives of her children.
No seriously, I'm Mithra and this blog is the backstory to my shop, Finder Not Keeper where I sell instant collections of really fabulous stuff. And while I adore selling vintage and antique housewares, I love writing about it even more.
When I attend auctions and estate sales, I come across very interesting stories. Like Mildred, the church organist who apparently stored cannabis in her ice bucket. (Mildred's story here.)
Or when I decide on a whim to play an April Fool's joke on my shop's landing page, I must share with you my joy in not having a boss to quash the idea. (Funny pics here.)
On this blog are stories of mistakes, adventures in learning, peeks at inspiration, and attempts to balance this online life with the real thing going on over my shoulder as I type. Enjoy!
One last thing -- if you do enjoy my company, I invite you to receive my weekly (Friday) posts directly in your email inbox. Scroll down to the form underneath my pretty slideshow and type in your email address.
If you would like to get in touch, send me an email and I'll respond as quickly as possible. Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you around the Internet!
